A graduate of Master in Development Management (MDM) from Asian Institute of Management (AIM) Philippines in 1994.

He was born at Sehara village of Barddhaman district, West Bengal, India into a family background of traditional healers and educators. From his childhood, Sona already had this great enthusiasm for Ayurveda and the passion in practicing Yoga, as his great grandfather and grandfather were well-regarded doctors and educators. From such genetic lineage and wanting to become an Ayurveda practitioner are reflective of his passion for holistic health endeavors.

He worked in African as a missionary for 12 years from 1979 to 1991. He was involved in relief operation in famine affected Ethiopia in 1983- 1985, the worst famine to hit the country in a century. He moved to the Philippines in 1991 and worked for ABS-CBN Foundation for 20 years from 1992-2012. He carried out relief operation after the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo in Zambales and other typhoon affected areas in the Philippines. He established Abs -Cbn Eco-Village in Iba as a resettlement project for the victims of Mt. Pinatubo in 1993 with a vision of building a self-sufficient community. He founded Abs-Cbn Bayan Microfinance in 1997 to give access to micro-credit to the marginalized farmers for agricultural production and to the poor women for livelihood without collaterals.

He organized Farmers Cooperatives for agriculture and local economy development in Zambales. Mango Farmers Development Cooperative (ZAMFARDECO) started Zambales Mango Festival in 2000. As a board member of the Dairy Confederation of the Philippines (Dairycon), he conducted a strategic planning workshop in Iba to prepare "A Road Map for National Daily Industry" in the Philippines in 2004. He started Eco-Camp program in Ecovillage, Iba, Zambales in 2005 for promoting environmental awareness and Ayurveda lifestyle among youths and school children around the world.

He co-founded Shanti Ayurveda Center in 2013 and currently the Chairman & CEO of the Company. He is also one of the founders of Ayurveda Association of Southeast Asia in 2014 and currently the Chairman of the Board. He founded Shanti Institute of Ayurveda in the year 2016 and currently the Chairman and President of the Institute.

He studied and researched on Ayurveda lifestyle principles from Vagbhata Sutra for six years. He has designed "Ayurveda Lifestyle" course to provide opportunities to deepen your awareness of Ayurveda way of life that have been practiced for thousands of years and to understand how these ancient teachings are relevant today in your day-to-day life and well-being goals. He teaches Ayurveda lifestyle to the children, families and communities for building a better world for all!


Graduated from University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center (UERM), Manila, Philippines. She started her practice in 1992 with a partner namely, Alcantara Reyes & Associates Dental Clinic which is located in Greenhills, San Juan, Philippines.
She co-founded Shanti Ayurveda Center Inc. with Sona Roy in 2013 and currently the President of Shanti Ayurveda Center. She is also one of the founders of Ayurveda Association of Southeast Asia in 2014 and currently the President of AASEA. In February 2014, she was the Philippine representative and a guest speaker in Global Ayurveda Festival in Kerala. In November of the same year, she represented Philippines in the World Ayurveda Congress in New Delhi, India.


Dr.Gibsy Sanjeevi George graduated BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India in year 2011.

He works in a challenging environment where professionalism and enthusiasm is recognized and emerges as an innovation in the world of Ayurveda.

Expertise in treating Bone and Joint diseases, Rheumatism, LBA, Spondylosis, Paralysis, Stroke, Pediatric cases, Skin diseases, Psychiatric cases and well efficient in Agnikarma, Raktamokshana and other Panchakarmas.

He worked as a trainee Ayurveda Doctor at Kottakal Arya Vaidya Sala, Chenghannur, Kerala, India in year 2011. He was consulting Doctor at Abhaya Ayurvedic Hospital, V.I. Varghese Vaidyan's Kayalvarath Ayurveda Hospital and Dhanwanthari VaidyaSala in Kerala, India, in year 2012 to 2014.

He participated and coordinated many CME seminars and medical seminars done by AMAI In Kerala, India. He is currently working at Shanti Ayurveda Clinic as a resident Ayurveda Doctor. He is one of the incorporators of Shanti Institute of Ayurveda (SIA) and currently the Program Director of the Institute.


Dr. Kiranlal graduated from Government Ayurveda College Trivandrum, University
of Kerala. He was working with different NGOs in Asia and Europe for popularizing
Ayurveda science and involved in creating the awareness of medicinal plants

He has worked with different agencies to develop the market of nature based
medicinal products from community development programs focused in Southeast
Asia and SAARC countries. He was working with Vedic remedies Pvt ltd as an
Ayurveda physician which runs a chain of Ayurveda hospitals in Kerala.
Currently he is a part of Shanti Ayurveda Philippines as a senior Ayurveda Physician, Consultant and Trainer.

He has expertise in Panchakarma treatment for muscular skeletal disorders and geriatric care. He is one of the coordinator of Global Ayurveda festival and world Ayurveda congress and consultant for leading Ayurveda pharma companies in India and Sri Lanka. He is also a part of the Center for innovation and social action (CISSA), one of the major NGOs who is promoting health food campaigning and slow food movement in India. He is a member of MANCOM of Shanti Institute of Ayurveda (SIA).


Dr. Ankit is an Ayurveda doctor from Gujarat, India. He completed his Ayurveda
Medicine from Gujarat Ayurveda University, Jamnagar, Gujarat in 2009. After
this he pursued a post graduate cultural course for two years in residential
Tapovan system education (Indian Traditional education system) about Indian
Culture and Indian philosophy. He has achieved Yoga expertise from
Shivananda Ashram.

After that He has been working as ayurveda doctor in Nisarg Ayurvedam with
special focus to Obstetric concepts and its application to the society and then
after started practising ayurveda as personal clinical setup as Nachiketa
Ayurveda Clinic. Besides that he has good experience of working with critically
ill patients in ICU setup with modern medicine in multi-specialty setup.
At presently, He is pursuing Medicine in AMA School of Medicine, with a special interest towards the future planning for Comparative Clinical research projects of Ayurveda and modern medicine. He is a member of MANCOM of Shanti Institute of Ayurveda (SIA).


Dr. Saha is a Master in Intercultural and International Management from SITUSA and a PhD in Social Science from Tilburg University of Netherlands. As an advocate of self-help in development and social change Mr. Shah focuses on Social Constructionism and Appreciative Inequity. During the period 2002-2008 Shayamal Saha worked as Training Specialist and Program Specialist for Organizational Learning Leadership and Management for International Institute of Rural Reconstruction (IIRR) in Philippines. Beginning 2009 as an
International Development Consultant he provided training and consultancy services to numerous organizations and agencies including governments, NGOs, transnational organizations and UN agencies and organizations in several countries in Asia and Africa.
Dr. Saha worked as the Adjunct Faculty for the School for International Training USA. He is credible of writing several scholarly articles and books; published by several international journals and publishers. Besides working as faculty for Shanti Institute of Ayurveda presently Mr. Saha is engaged as Associate for the Taos Institute of USA, and a core consultant for CLTS Foundation India. Dr. Saha is a member of the alumni association of Nehru Foundation, India and Asian Health Institute, Japan. Dr. Saha is an expert of designing and facilitating training and learning program not as an isolated event but ‘learning is doing and doing is learning’. He is a member of MANCOM of Shanti Institute of Ayurveda (SIA).


Dr. Morató has devoted most of his career life to the management of public and multilateral agencies, private development foundations and educational institutions. During his ten year-stint in the public sector, he served as general manager of the Human Settlements Development Corporation, as president of Bliss Development Corporation and, simultaneously, of the National Housing Corporation, and as managing director of the
Technology Resources Center. He was instrumental in establishing government-controlled enterprises such as the National Agri-Business Corporation, the Philippine Fruits and Vegetables Inc. and many others. Earlier, he worked as special consultant to the Secretary of the Department of Agriculture and as loan/investment officer of the World Bank Group (IBRD and IFC) In Washington D.C., USA.

In the private sector, Dr. Morató began his career in 1968 with Rubicon Inc., the management company of Philippine Airlines and then moved on to the Investment Services Corp. He assumed the presidency of Bayan EDGE (formerly ABS-CBN Bayan Foundation, Inc.) in 2006 and created the Bayan Academy for Social Entrepreneurship and Human Resource Development, Inc. in 2008. These two non-profit organizations are committed to enterprise building and financing, social development (education and employment) and to environment conservation. Dr. Morató has dedicated eleven years, thus far, to private sector management.
Throughout his entire career, Dr. Morató has been consulting for and training large, medium and small business corporations.

In the field of education, Dr. Morató was elected dean of the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) in 2000 and was appointed associate dean, at various times, in the Graduate School of Business (GSB), in the Center for Development Management (CDM), and in the Asian Center for Entrepreneurship (ACE). At CDM, he designed and launched the socially relevant Masters in Development Management program. He was a tenured full professor at AIM where he was consistently top-ranked by the students and the administration. His fields of expertise include general management, finance, organizational engineering, strategic planning, entrepreneurship and development management. Concurrent to his private sector engagement, Dr. Morató has been the chairman of Ace Center for Entrepreneurship and Management Education which has partnered with the Ateneo Graduate School of Business on the innovative Masters in Entrepreneurship program from 2008 up to the present. The
program was an offshoot of a four-year research by Dr. Morató on Asian entrepreneurs while at AIM. In total, Dr. Morató has been an educator and an academic research leader for 26 years. Dr. Morató has written 28 books, numerous articles, monographs, handbooks and over five hundred case studies and accompanying texts. The topics include Creativity and Intuition, Finance, Development Management, Art, Leadership and Governance, Strategic Planning and Management, Self-Mastery, Entrepreneurship, Customer Analysis, Business Decision-Making, Education and Enterprise Development, Growth and Evolution.

Dr. Morató earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, major in Economics at the Ateneo de Manila University in 1968. He obtained his Master in Business Management, with High Distinction from AIM in 1972 and a Doctor in Public Administration degree from the University of the Philippines where he was a consistent University Scholar. He is Triple A awardee of the Asian Institute of Management Alumni Association and an Eminent Fellow of the Development Academy of the Philippines.


Mr. Philip graduated Cum Laude in AB Economics from the College of Human Sciences, Saint Louis University, Baguio City; a Master in Medical Anthropology from University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands and Master in Developmental Economics from the University of the Philippines. Mr. Philip was engaged as a Legislative Staff Officer for the Office of Senator Ralph G. Recto in 2001-2002; Economic Researcher: Formulation of Comprehensive Development Plan of Districts IV, Quezon City Planning Workshop Course, U.P School of Urban and Regional Planning November 2001-April 2002 ; Public Advocacy Officer/Consultant for KAISAHAN in 2001; Mediator for the Philippine Judicial Academy (PHILJA), Supreme Court of the Philippines in 2001 ; Research Assistant (2001) for Thomas Meidaner, a Researcher from
the University of Hamburg, Germany. Highly self-motivated and goal-oriented individual seeking a long-term career in a development-oriented organization; Recipient of Lutheran World Federation, Ford Foundation and University of the Philippines’ Presidential Scholarships Grants; Obtained degrees in economics, urban and regional planning and medical anthropology; A licensed Environmental planner as conferred by the professional regulation commission; Attended various training and seminar workshops on development economics; environmental issues, housing and conflict resolution.
