Shanti Ayurveda
Ayurveda comes from the words ‘Ayu‘, which means life or longevity, and Veda, which means knowledge or science. Thus, Ayurveda is ‘the science of life. Ayurveda aims to maintain the health of a healthy person and cure the diseases of sick people. Ayurveda asserts that science, philosophy, and spirituality are necessary aspects of living a productive and purposeful life. Ayurveda is considered not only a comprehensive medical system but also a way of life.
Vision and Mission
‘Health and happiness are the universal human right of everyone. Ayurveda lifestyle principles are fundamental to good health and well-being. What Our Clients Say
My experience was of a cooling sensation, the moment the buttermilk was poured slowly on my forehead. This went on and on until I fell asleep. They then gave me a concoction prepared from Amla (Indian Gooseberry) to wash the buttermilk from my hair. The experience “converted” me. I had Ayurvedic treatments years ago — the pouring of warm herbal oil on the forehead (Sirodhara), and Abhyanga massages — but this Takradhara treatment made me feel a significant difference.
Gina Lopez
I got attracted to Shanti Ayurveda at a time where I was thinking of another way to lose weight and to get healthier after doing Pilates workout for two years. Upon hearing that I would be getting a massage every session as a way to reach my goals, I was already daydreaming. So then, I finished my program with 6lbs. less, rhinitis improved, bowel movement better and skin all over smoother.
All derived from the natural ingredients being massaged on my skin!

When I finished the three-day treatment at the Shanti Ayurveda Center in Xavierville Ave., I noticed that I felt stronger, healthier calmer, and more centered. They also offer 3-,7-,14-, and 21-day programs to help you detoxify your body and achieve the mind and spirit balance you need. I can only imagine what that feels like. Ayurveda’s approach is holistic. Their aim is to cleanse and balance all the forces within us with the Universe. It is both a practical and spiritual approach to healing.
